"BREMEN – Traffic is flowing again on US 6 in Marshall County after a deadly traffic crash Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. just outside the Pla-Mor Campground, leaving one person dead.
Police say an SUV was driving east, veered into the other lane and collided head-on with a semi.
The sun was bad in the area at the time, so police are investigating to see if the driver may have been blinded, though that has not been confirmed.
The driver of the SUV died despite wearing a seat belt. The crash caused the semi to catch on fire but the driver of the rig got out safely.
US 6 was closed in both directions for more than 4 1/2 hours, but the Marshall County Sheriff's Department says the highway has reopened.
Stay tuned to WSBT for updates throughout the day."
