A 33-year-old Seattle man has died in a Thursday two-vehicle crash on Oregon 97 near Wasco, said state police.
(censored) was traveling southbound in a 1994 Ferrari 348 coupe at 9 a.m., when he crashed into a left-turning 2011 Ford Edge near the Mud Hollow Road intersection.
The impact sent the Ferrari about 20 feet off the roadway, said state police. Pigotti had to be extricated from the vehicle and flown to Mid-Columbia Medical Center where he died two hours later.
The driver of the Ford, 90-year-old Peter J. Macnab, of Wasco, was also transported to Mid-Columbia Medical Center for minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation."
