Crash Victim Dies After Van Wraps Around Tree.

"KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department responded to an early morning fatal van crash.
Kosciusko County Deputy Coroner Michael Wilson pronounced Justin Ellis, 25, dead at the scene from blunt force trauma after he crashed into a tree south of State Road 25 in Kosciusko County.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency personnel responded to a 911 call Saturday morning at approximately 1:59 a.m. of a van crashed into a tree south of State Road 25 on County Road 450 West. When officers arrived, they found a 1992 GMC van crushed and wrapped around a tree off the east side of the roadway.
Parkview Samaritan helicopter was called to the scene, but when paramedics arrived they pronounced the driver dead. Kosciusko County Deputy Coroner Michael Wilson pronounced Ellis dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.
Kosciusko County F.A.C.T./crash investigator’s stated that Ellis was driving southbound on County Road 450 West. Investigators said Ellis swerved off the road and crashed into a tree, but they are not sure why. The crash is still under investigation."
