Semi runs over car on Gene Snyder near I-65.

"LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Emergency crews were called to the eastbound lanes of the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265/KY 841) after a crash involving a semi tractor-trailer and a car near the approach to Interstate 65.
According to MetroSafe Dispatch, the accident was reported at 9:54 a.m. From Air 3, it appeared the car was run over and crushed by the semi. Debris from the wrecked vehicle could be seen in front of and on the driver side of the semi rig.
One person injured in the wreck was flown by medical helicopter to University Hospital. There has been no word on their condition.
The eastbound lanes of the Snyder were blocked while emergency crews worked at the accident scene. Louisville Metro Police are diverting traffic from the eastbound Snyder onto National Turnpike. Traffic caught behind the accident scene was allowed to exit the Snyder and get onto I-65. The westbound fast lane traffic on the Snyder was also affected by emergency equipment.
The eastbound Snyder was reopened to traffic around 3:30 p.m."
