One injured in Manchester Township crash.

"On 01.12.2012 at 0718 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a three vehicle crash on Board Road at May Drive in Manchester Township.
Investigation found that 1999 Jeep Cherokee was being operated eastbound on May Drive by Justin Conlen age 26 of Mount Wolf.  The Conlen vehicle attempted to make a left turn onto northbound Board Road and pulled into the path of a southbound 2000 Freightliner tractor trailer being operated by Christopher Clagget age 30 of York.  This impact forced the Conlen vehicle to strike a northbound Ford minivan being operated by Kevin Cartier age 35 of Edgewater Park, MD.
Conlen had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Manchester Township Department of Fire Services.  He was flown to York Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Claggett and Cartier were uninjured."

"A Monday afternoon crash resulted in moderate injury to a driver and road closures while the involved vehicles were cleared from the roadway. Information related to the injury and operator information is currently unavailable. The crash occurred at the intersection of Church Road and Lewisberry Road, the crash was reported at 14:44 hours. The NYCRPD continues the investigation into this crash.

Woman killed in crash on Route 254.

"SHEFFIELD TWP. — A crash at state routes 57 and 254 claimed the life of an elderly woman Friday night.
Wilma Sebastian, 82, of North Ridgeville, was a passenger in a Ford Windstar travelling east on Route 254 that collided with a box truck headed north on Route 57 about 7:10 p.m. She was taken to EMH Regional Medical Center with severe injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The Ohio Highway Patrol is still investigating who was at fault.
“There’s some conflicting statements as to who was on green or red,” said Sgt. Paul March, of the patrol’s Elyria post.
The impact caved in the passenger side of the Windstar and sent it careering into the far right westbound lane of state Route 254, where it came to a stop. The box truck received minor visible damage.
Gregory Hudnall, 55, of Elyria, was the driver of the van and Sebastian’s son-in-law, according to March. He had cuts on his hands from broken glass but refused treatment at the scene. Adele Hudnall, 53, also a passenger in the van, was transported to EMH with non life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol.
Both Hudnalls and Sebastian were wearing seat belts.
The driver of the truck, Danny Morrison, 51, also of Elyria, was taken to Community Regional Medical Center about three hours after the crash for a possible head injury, March said.
Route 57 northbound and Route 254 east and westbound were reduced to one lane while the crash was investigated.
The crash remains under investigation."

"EL MONTE - All lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway were reopened late Tuesday morning at Peck Road, the site of an earlier fatal accident, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three of the four lanes were closed for more than six hours Tuesday after a minivan driver was killed and two road construction workers were injured. The accident occured at 4:14 a.m. Tuesday, said the CHP.
Traffic lanes were reopened by around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the CHP, but not before creating a major traffic slowdown from El Monte to West Covina that may have added more than an hour to commute time for motorists driving to Los Angeles.
CHP Officer Ed Jacobs says a Ford Aerostar rear-ended a road work truck as the crew picked up traffic cones on westbound 10.

Jacobs says the minivan's driver died. Two road workers were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.

Jacobs says he can't confirm TV reports that a dog in the minivan also was killed.

The crash follows a Sunday accident that killed two road workers on Interstate 405 in Torrance. Authorities say two suspected drunken drivers collided, and one car slammed into repaving equipment."

Two Injured In Friday Night Crash On Highway 97.

"Two people were injured in a three vehicle crash on Highway 97 south of Tungoil Road Friday night.
According to witnesses, an elderly male driving a van apparently collided with a pickup and another van just after 9 p.m. He was not injured.
The pickup flipped at least once, hitting a tree and landing off roadway. A female passenger in the pickup was transported by ambulance to West Florida Hospital in Pensacola. The driver of the pickup was not injured.
The driver of the second van was transported by ambulance to Atmore Community Hospital. None of the injuries were believed to be life threatening.
Further details were not available Friday night; the accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The Walnut Hill Station of Escambia Fire Rescue and Atmore Ambulance also responded to the call."
