"No one was seriously injured Wednesday morning when a vehicle slammed into a fast food restaurant in southeast Atlanta.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, four vehicles — a Lincoln Navigator, a Ford Expedition, a pickup truck and an Audi — were involved in a wreck about 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Moreland and East Confederate avenues, and the Navigator came to a stop inside the nearby Zesto restaurant.
GSP Senior Trooper Larry Schnall said that the driver of the Expedition was southbound on Moreland Avenue when she lost control, striking several other vehicles and setting off a chain reaction crash.
The Navigator “traveled airborne into the building, causing significant damage to the establishment,” Schnall said. “Fortunately, no one was inside.”
The restaurant was scheduled to open at 10 a.m., according to the Zesto’s website.
Schnall said three of the four drivers were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were believed to be minor. He said investigators had not yet determined what caused the Expedition driver to lose control of her vehicle.
“Myself and my partner were across the street and partially witnessed this accident,” Schnall told the AJC. “We saw the Navigator go airborne into the building, and my first reaction was, wow, if this place was open for business, someone very well could have been seriously injured or multiple fatalities.”"

"On 09.18.2012 at 0953 hours the Northern York County Regional Police Department responded to a three vehicle crash on Brandywine Lane near Leaf Street in Manchester Township.
Investigation found that a 2009 Chevrolet sedan operated by Rosemary Weaver age 65 of Manchester was travelling eastbound on Brandywine Lane when she failed to negotiate a right hand curve.  Weaver’s vehicle left her lane of travel and entered the eastbound lane where it first struck a trailer being pulled by Michael Dravk age 48 of Conewago Township.  The Weaver vehicle then struck an eastbound 2011 Hyundai operated by Paul Williams age 52 of York head on.
Weaver was transported to Memorial Hospital for moderate injuries.  Neither Dravk nor Williams were injured."

Tulsa Police Respond To Rollover Wreck.

Tulsa police were called to a rollover wreck in east Tulsa at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday. They found a car that had rolled on its top on Admiral at 117th East Avenue.

Police were told the vehicle had been eastbound on Admiral from Garnett when it went to the left, hit a culvert and flipped.
The occupants of the car left in another vehicle. It is unknown if there were any injuries."

Man Rushed To Surgery In Tulsa Rollover Wreck.

"TULSA, Oklahoma -

A man was seriously injured after his car rolled on U.S. Highway 169 at about 5 a.m. Saturday. It happened just south of the 81st Street exit in the southbound lanes of the highway.

Tulsa police say the man, who was about 30 years old, was trying to pass another vehicle when he lost control of his SUV. The SUV rolled several times, trapping the driver inside. He was freed by Tulsa firefighters.
Carl Bennett, the driver of the car being passed, said he saw the SUV speeding by him then saw the underside of the car right in his front windshield.
"It was all pretty fast," he said. "He was rolling level with my steering wheel, so I cut over to the right to get out of it, and that's where he stopped."
Traffic was diverted from the highway for a couple of hours.
"It does appear that alcohol was involved tonight," said Corporal R.W. Solomon, Tulsa Police.
Officers say the driver was in very serious condition and was rushed to surgery Saturday morning.
"As of right now, he's still with us," Solomon said."

School bus careens into building after crash.

"NEW YORK (WABC) -- A school bus collided with a car and ended up slamming into a storefront in Brooklyn early Thursday.

The incident happened around 6:10 a.m. at the intersection of East 21st Street and Church Avenue in Flatbush.

Authorities say the mini school bus was hit from behind by a white four-door Toyota in the middle of the intersection after that driver ran a red ligth. Both vehicles went out of control, sending the bus careening into the building. The car crashed into a parked car.

Passengers of both vehicles were taken to Kings County Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center with unknown injuries. The bus driver and matron were hurt, but there were no children on the bus at the time.

Bestival Festival coach crash kills three returning to Liverpool.

"THREE people were killed and dozens more injured after a coach carrying Bestival festival-goers back to Merseyside crashed in Surrey.

The 51-seater Merseypride Travel coach was on its way back from Bestival in the Isle of Wight when it smashed into a tree on an embankment off the A3 at Hindhead shortly before midnight.
Three people - including the driver - were declared dead at the scene and one of the passengers was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with what were described
as "life-changing injuries".
The rest of the passengers, some with serious injuries, were taken to the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, St George's Hospital in Tooting, King's College Hospital in London, Frimley Park Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
Speaking from the scene, Inspector Richard Mallett said 53 people were thought to have been on board.
He said: "We are dealing with a major incident, a tragic major incident. The coach has gone off the road and had a significant impact with a tree, I think that is the best way to describe it.
"The bodies are still trapped inside the vehicle. As you can imagine it is a very delicate operation to remove them. With all due respect to them we need to get them out properly."
He added: "We are confident that there is no-one left in the vehicle alive. Our colleagues from the fire and ambulance service with their specialist teams have been through the vehicle. It is a body recovery operation at this point here."
The coach was heading northbound when it crashed between the Hindhead tunnel and the Thursley exit. No other vehicles were thought to have been involved in the crash.
Surrey Police is working with Merseyside Police and Merseypride to identify the passengers and notify relatives.
Surrey Police assistant chief constable Jerry Kirkby said: "This has been declared a major incident and we are working with our colleagues from the other emergency services and other partner agencies to provide a coordinated response in line with agreed protocols.
"Our thoughts remain with the relatives of the dead and the injured at this time and we are working very hard to notify their next of kin."
A spokesman for Speke-based Merseypride Travel said: "Our condolences go out to the families of the bereaved."
It is understood the coach set off from Aintree on Wednesday for the music festival.
After being medically assessed passengers were being taken to a rest centre set up nearby and managed by Waverley Borough Council.
The centre is based at Thursley Village Hall, a hamlet less than two miles north of the crash scene.Casualties were being offered food and drink and beds.
Leader of Waverley Borough Council Cllr Robert Knowles said the centre "would be open as long as required".
He added: "My thoughts go out to these people - this is a dreadful thing."
Crews from Surrey Police, Surrey Fire and Rescue and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene last night. The road was closed in both directions.

Mother and child killed in I-70 crash.

"PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - The victims of a fatal accident on I-70 near the 43 mile marker Friday evening have been identified.
The Indiana State Police and Putnam County Coroner’s Office have identified the victims to be a mother and daughter.
Emma Bronson, 49, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, and her daughter Zacchia Bronson,3, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Mrs. Bronson succumbed chest injuries and her daughter succumbed head injuries, according to a release.
The driver of the BMW, Michael Bronson, 47, was treated at IU Health Methodist Hospital for neck and back pain. Bronson is the father and husband to the victims. He has been released from the hospital.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, Jordan Moore, is still hospitalized at IU Health Methodist Hospital with extensive injuries, police say.
The driver of the pickup, William Bertelmann, is still at Methodist undergoing observation.
A preliminary investigation Friday revealed that eastbound traffic was stopped for construction  when a tractor pulling a box trailer failed to stop and struck a pickup in the rear. The pickup then overturned off the roadway. The tractor-trailer continued heading forward and struck the rear of the BMW which then burst into flames.
The investigation is still ongoing.
No citations have been issued."

Car crashes down 300-foot cliff, kills 2, injures 1.

"WASHINGTON FIELDS, WASHINGTON COUNTY  — Witnesses say a trio of adults were drinking Friday night and then driving erratically in a small car without headlights on before the mangled wreckage was discovered early Saturday morning at the bottom of a 300-foot cliff.
Sheriff's Underdeputy Bart Bailey would only confirm two people died as the result of the horrific crash in a popular camping and ATV area on Bureau of Land Management property southeast of the Washington town. He did say a third occupant of the car — believed by witnesses to be a woman — was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center for injuries likely to be severe.
Witnesses, however, said the trio — estimated to be between ages 26 and 32  — hung out with them at their campsite Friday night, where they shared some beers.
Afterward, the car was traveling erratically and without its lights on as it sped along dirt roads in pitch dark.
Another witness said the woman who survived was apparently knocked out for hours but was able to call for help from her cell phone when she regained consciousness this morning.
Authorities believe it will be days before they are able to retrieve the car, which landed on its top and was smashed into pieces. It may be that a crane will have to be used to pluck the wreckage from the deep ravine.
The sheriff's office has not said if the bodies of the two killed have been retrieved, nor have they released other details pertinent to the crash."
